ABOUT ME
Synthisfactory is my artist name. It is also the name of the music label en production company. I started at about the age of 12 playing keyboards and synthesizers. Due to lack of money at that age, every now and then I swapped the synth I owned with some extra cash to buy a new one.

Only after earning money with a day job, I was able to add devices so the gear list started to grow. Started with MIDI recording on a C64, then a Atari ST 1040 and from 1995 on a Windows PC. Audio recording was still done on tape deck. Currently the main music PC is a 23" touch PC running 64 bit Windows7. Touch comes in very handy for controlling the DAW and software synthesizers. All MIDI and audio are recorded directly into PC.

As Synthisfactory I compose my own music and some are produced under the music label Synthisfactory and for sale and/or streamable. I have no fixed style/genre. I simply play what comes to mind at that moment.

I am mostly influenced by the music of Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis, but also Kitaro and Yanni. This might explain the different styles of music I make as some are pure synthesizer songs and others more classical, ambient or even new age. Sometimes it might be pop or even trance.
SX INSTRUMENTALS

I am also part of the duo SX Instrumentals. We compose music together, but it leads to a different kind of music of what I make as Synthisfactory.
